Terrie Martinez is the Human Resources Manager. She began her career with Kern County Human Services in 1997 working in various child welfare programs as a Social Service Worker, Social Services Supervisor, Human Services Program Specialist, Human Services Program Director, and currently as the Human Resources Manager.   Her experience in child welfare programs include Permanent Placement, Family Services, Court Intake, the Adoption Agency, Emergency Response, Emergency Response On-Call Program, and Jamison Children's Center. Terrie participated and graduated from the Kern County Network for Children’s Leadership program, as well as the Investment in Excellence program.  She also has experience in leading the Child Welfare System Improvement Plan.

Terrie earned her Associate of Arts and Bachelor's of Arts degrees in Psychology. She also earned her Master’s in Social Work degree from California State University Bakersfield, graduating in 2004.
